Happy Independence Day everyone.
We are only a month away from completing our remodeling. Then bring on the cleaning and the moving. We've been busy running around buying appliances, picking out tiles, granite, and paint color.
The wedding planning is going well. We are starting to gather guests' information for compiling a guest list. We also have set a date for our formal engagement/tea ceremony. It will take place in the fall with both of our immediate family. Taiwanese traditions are so complicated. There are rules on how many people there should be, what kind of gifts to bring, how many kinds of gifts, when the groom's side of family should arrive at, and even on what kind of tea to serve. We will probably just base our ceremony loosely on the tradition. It will still be a formal tea ceremony, but definitely won't be stressing ourselves over every single details.
I am slowly getting in shape with the Dailey Method, and Wii Active. I know the latter sounds silly, but the workout itself is most definitely kicking my behind right now. Joe doesn't have to worry about his weight. He can lose weight by just running around the block once. =P
Besides getting in shape, we are also starting to do research for videographer, DJs, cake and stylist. Which one do you think we look forward to the most?? Hahah yes the cake tasting.
Anyway, I'm off to try to go see some fireworks.
